Assembly / Finishing
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Using a yarn needle, weave the tail through the front loop of each remaining stitch. Pull tight to close the opening. Weave in any remaining ends. Shape the ball with your hands to ensure even stuffing.
Tips
- Use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning of each round, moving it up as you complete each round.
- Stuff the ball firmly to create a good, round shape, but don't overstuff to the point of distorting the stitches.
- For a tighter fabric, use a hook size smaller than typically recommended for your yarn.
- Crochet a gauge swatch to ensure your finished item is the desired size.
