Tips
- Yarn Substitution: This pattern is designed to be versatile. You can use any yarn weight from fingering to bulky. Just choose a hook size that gives you a fabric you like, keeping in mind that thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in a larger garment, and vice-versa. Always make a gauge swatch!
- Sizing: To adjust the size, simply continue with the increase rounds (Rnd 2-18) until the yoke reaches your desired chest circumference, divided by 4 (this provides the width for each raglan panel). The stitch counts are math-verified, but fit is not guaranteed without a gauge swatch.
- Length Customization: The body and sleeves can be made as long or as short as you desire.
- Gauge Swatch: Crocheting a gauge swatch is crucial for achieving the intended fit. Your stitch count might be correct according to the pattern, but if your tension is different, the finished item will not match the target size.
