Sl st into the next stitch. FO, leaving a long tail. Weave the tail through the front loop of the remaining 6 stitches and pull tight to close the hole. Weave in all ends securely. Place your mini succulent pot inside the cover.
Tips
- Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round, especially in the beginning, to avoid losing your place.
- For a tighter fabric suitable for a pot cover, use a hook size one or two sizes smaller than recommended for your yarn.
- To adjust the height of the cover, add or remove plain sc rounds (like Rnd 7-9) before starting the decrease rounds.
- Don't forget to crochet a gauge swatch. While gauge isn't critical for sizing a pot cover, it will ensure your fabric is dense enough to hold its shape.
