Assembly / Finishing
- Frog: Ensure the frog is firmly stuffed. Weave in all loose ends.
- Lily Pad: Weave in all loose ends. The pink rounds will form a petal-like edge on the lily pad.
- Place the frog on top of the lily pad. You can lightly tack it in place with a few stitches using your tapestry needle and a scrap of green yarn, if desired, to prevent it from slipping.
- If you wish to add small white dots to the frog's back, use a tapestry needle and white yarn to make a few French knots or small stitches.
Tips
- Use a stitch marker to keep track of the first stitch of each round, especially for spiral rounds.
- Stuff your amigurumi firmly and evenly to achieve the desired shape.
- Practice your single crochet decrease (dec) for a neat, less visible decrease.
- Crochet a gauge swatch to ensure your stitches are tight enough so that stuffing does not show through.
