Assembly / Finishing
- Frog Body: Ensure the body is stuffed firmly and shaped nicely.
- Eyes: Place the white eye pieces around the safety eyes on the frog's head. Stitch them securely in place with the white yarn tails, making sure they cup the safety eyes.
- Nénuphar: Lightly stuff the nénuphar (water lily) and sew it to the bottom of the frog, positioning it so the frog appears to be sitting on it.
- Embellishments: Optionally, embroider a small mouth with black yarn using a tapestry needle.
- Weave in all remaining ends to secure your work.
Tips
- Use a stitch marker at the beginning of each round when working in the round to keep track of your progress.
- Stuff the amigurumi firmly but evenly to avoid bumps and ensure it holds its shape.
- To create a neater look, invisible decreases can be used instead of regular decreases.
- Crochet a gauge swatch to ensure your finished item will be the desired size.
