Magic ring

Let's take our yarn and start with a magic ring. Wrap the yarn around your left index finger twice, then carefully slide it off. Hold the loop with your left thumb and middle finger, and insert your hook into the center of the ring. Yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through to make a chain stitch.
